For the past 40 years, Worldwide Marriage Encounter has offered weekend-long intensive retreats to millions of couples in over 80 countries around the world. Today couples can find an WWME Weekend in almost every state in the USA, sponsored by one of 12 licensed "faith expressions": Baptist, Episcopal, Lutheran, Mennonite-Brethren, Orthodox, Presbyterian, Reformed, Roman Catholic, Seventh Day Adventist, United Church of Christ/Disciples of Christ, United Methodist, and Wesleyan. The Weekends are led by a clergy couple/priest and 2-3 lay couples who will share their personal growth in communication and faith, providing hands-on practice in a safe environment. For all ages and stages of marriage, this program is effective and far-reaching.
